Through Jesus You Are Abraham's Seed And Heir
The Law of Moses was put into place and was to protect us until Christ would come Jeremiah 31:31. The law included blessings for healing,
physical, material and financial needs if the people were obedient. If not, they fell under the curse of the law. Because of God’s promise
to Abraham, Jesus came Acts 13:32-33. God’s promise to Abraham continued and after the cross, Jesus went to Abraham’s bosom were Abraham
and his descendants who had died previously were waiting to be ministered to by Jesus. The New Covenant fulfilled God’s promise to Abraham
as Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law as Christ was made a curse for us and paid the penalty Galatians 3:13-14. In our faith,
we also receive God’s promise to Abraham and become children of God and heirs to the promise of blessings Galatians 3:29. If you belong
to Jesus, then you are also Abraham’s seed and heir. Yes even in our generation! We have the same promise from God as Abraham, Isaac,
Jacob and Joseph did...the promise that God will make you exceedingly fruitful in all aspects of your life. In Genesis 17:7, God said, "He
will" establish this everlasting covenant for all generations, and that includes yours. This is His promise to you by faith to prosper you
the same way He prospered Abraham.
If the children of Israel back then kept the words of the covenant, they would prosper in all that they did Deuteronomy 29:1,9. God’s
covenant is one of prosperity and He takes pleasure in our prosperity Psalm 35:27. If you think you shouldn’t be prosperous and should
remain in poverty, you are rejecting God’s covenant because prosperity is definitely a part of God’s will.
Deuteronomy 8:18 said that whoever God has a covenant relationship with, He gives them power to get wealth. God does this so that He can
keep His promise, so that He can establish His covenant and the work of His church and ministry can be done. Today we have a new covenant
through Jesus Christ, but it’s a better covenant Hebrews 8:6. God prospered His people greatly under the old covenant but just think how
much more He will now that this new covenant is "better" with spirit filled believers and God now dwelling in our hearts instead of in a
man-made temple.
If you belong to Christ, then you too are Abraham’s seed and an heir to the blessings of Abraham. God is guaranteeing your success on earth
exceedingly because God keeps His promises Psalm 89:34. You have already received your salvation so now receive your full inheritance.
Receive your prosperity blessings for health and financial needs. God’s covenant included salvation, healing and prosperity but most
Christians have only grasped the salvation part. God wants you to have it all!
How Do You Receive "Your" Full Inheritance?
Read how Abraham received his in Romans 4:3, 13, 16-25. Abraham believed God and he had faith in God. God’s covenant and promise to
Abraham already belonged to him. He just had to act on it and believe that God would do these things for him. The same was true for his
descendants. If they did not have faith, they missed the blessings. God’s covenant with Abraham is based on faith and applies to us too.
We have to believe what God says in order to receive what God has to offer. God wants to bless you exceedingly also as Genesis 17:7
tells us.
Read Matthew 6:19-3. Here Jesus is teaching His disciples how God will provide you with material things as food, clothing and material
items. Verse 6:32 says that God knows that we need all these things. He is fully aware of what we need to survive on earth. God not
only provides these things to us but takes pleasure in providing them to us as this is all a part of the covenant promise Psalm 35:27.
Don’t worry about how your needs are going to be met, just know and believe that God will supply those needs. Trust Him! But remember
Matthew 6:33. In order for God to pour out His blessings on us, we must first seek God and put God first in our lives meaning to read
God’s Word and do what it says. We must obey God and be faithful to Him for it is God who gives us the power and ability to get wealth.
Read Deuteronomy 8:17-19. He gives us riches and wealth not to hoard and use all for our own purposes, but to share with others and to
help build up the kingdom of God. God will use you and all that He has given you in mighty ways. The more you give to others, the more
God will give back to you. Read Luke 12:15. Jesus is saying not to heap up and store away things for yourself. Read Luke 12:21. To be
selfish is not of God. We must use the talents that God gave us and the power that God gave us and be committed to God because we love
God. We don’t desire prosperity for our own material gain, we desire it to better serve God. God prospered His people when they obeyed
Him. When they disobeyed Him, God still loved them but they didn’t prosper in His great blessings Deuteronomy 29:9.
God is still the same and the laws of prosperity will work in your life too if you are obedient to His Word. God wants obedient children
and God wants to bless and give great financial blessings to His children. He wants those same obedient children to share that which He
gave them to strengthen the kingdom of God. You should desire to please God anyway that you can. You are not to keep your eye on money
or possessions, but you are to keep it on God’s Word Proverbs 4:20-22. We are to set our mind on Christ and the things above, and not
on our money Colossians 3:2. If we constantly dwell on our money, it is distracting and takes our mind off of God’s Word Mark 4:18-19.
Make a decision to serve the Lord first and then when He blesses you materially, those possessions will be there for you to use for His
work and you won’t be controlled by them. Be obedient to God and the amount He tells you to give. There’s a reason for the amount that
He asks you to give. Don’t worry about giving away too much as you can never out give God. God will replace what you gave and then some
Luke 6:38.
So how do we receive our full inheritance? We have to believe what God says, have faith, be obedient and then we can receive what God has
to offer.
